Mowing, Maintenance, and Multitasking (with a Side of Dog Hair)

Today’s vibe? Slightly feral but still fabulous. 💅

I woke up this morning to the sound of Bear's toenails click-clacking on the floor like a tiny chihuahua tap dancer, Mocha staring into my soul, and Lola doing her usual "I'm too delicate for mornings" routine. Naturally, I took one look at the backyard and realized I had a choice:
Either tame the wild or let it become a national park.

So out I went — gloves on, mower fueled (emotionally and literally), and playlist blaring. Mid-mow, sweating like a sinner in church, I had a full existential moment:

“Is this adulthood? Is this what all those career fairs were preparing us for?”

Meanwhile, in the digital trenches…

✨ I FIXED A CANONICAL ERROR.
That’s right, Google. I cleaned up my HTML, slapped on the right tags, and reintroduced my blog to the search algorithm gods. The whole dang site got re-indexed. If I’m not on the first page of results for “midlife meltdown meets glam recovery” by next week, I want a recount.

And just to make things more interesting —
I tried to give all three dogs attention while covered in grass clippings and thinking about whether I remembered to switch the laundry. Spoiler alert: I didn’t.

Let me be clear: I am one woman, not an octopus.
But if I were, each arm would still be doing something for everyone else while I balanced a laptop on my knee trying to write this post.

💡 Today’s Wins:

  • ✅ Backyard mowed (still sweating)

  • ✅ Blog technically optimized (I am now an honorary Google engineer)

  • ✅ Dogs got snuggles (one of them sneezed in my mouth, but we won’t talk about it)

If no one’s told you this today:

You’re doing amazing. And if your version of self-care is fixing a broken self-propelled mower while talking sweetly to a Chihuahua named Bear? Same, bestie. Same.
